Professor Stone made a class announcement before everyone heads off into weekend mode. He said that all term papers should be in by Monday. As expected, the class groaned when they found out the deadline. It’s not surprising that no one even bothered to ask that deadline in the first place. Then again, I don’t ask about paper due dates either. After class, I walked to the library to get some ideas on what to submit to that eccentric professor of ours. You won’t know what topic could possibly catch his eye anyway. I browsed though several book titles until my friend texted me about the lacrosse game we’re playing today. That’s when I realized that I almost forgot about the game because of Stone’s royal decree. I weighed the options of whether I should go to the game or just stay home and do the paper. As an expert crammer, I know that three days are enough for me to finish my term papers if I wanted to. I told my friend that I’m going with them later. A lacrosse game shouldn’t take that long anyway. I’ll still have time when I get back from the game.
