What's up with Talon Lacrosse?
This was our second trip back to Philadelphia for another great weekend showcasing our company's products, making new friends, and of course, catching up with many old ones. After having been through this a year ago, this trip was much smoother for us, even with the addition to our schedule of Talon's President, Doug Appleton, accepting the honor of Exceptional Double-Goal Coach of the Year at Saturday morning's US Lacrosse Youth Council Awards breakfast. We felt the weekend was a huge success, especially since we realize our shafts are at their very best when they're in people's hands. It also helped that many on the East coast had their first opportunity to check out our full length defensive shafts, our Protector 60 and Beast. Once again, the Talon Kid video was a big hit with visitors new to it - there have been rumors he may be joining us with some new tricks up his sleeve at the next big event. In the meantime, we will continue to work very hard at expanding our presence around the country, and will make every effort possible to attend this and other lacrosse events in the near (and far) future.
Great to see and meet all of you in Philly. Thank you to all those who stopped by our booth - see you next year in Baltimore, if not much sooner.
